Best Practices for Preparing Your Home for Hurricanes
- Create an Emergency Plan: Establish a family emergency plan that includes evacuation routes and communication strategies. Keep important documents in a waterproof container.
- Stock Up on Supplies. Ensure you have enough non-perishable food, water, and medication to last at least three days. Include a first-aid kit, flashlights, batteries, and a battery-powered radio.
